Susan Hager is an artist and a builder. She has a Home Improvement Contractors License with the City of New York. Her business, Sketch & Hammer, specializes in the designing and building of deck environments and outdoor accessories made out of wood for New York City home dwellers. This includes multi-tiered platforms, Japanese-garden-styled railings, planters contoured into geometric shapes, benches, and pergolas raised up with a classic Italian look. She can turn the city's asphalt courtyards and tar-beach roofs into environmental paradises. Emanuele Castelli is the owner of a first-class ironworks shop, Manny Iron Works. He is a certified master ironsmith with 30 year's experience and he is fully insured to work in New York City. For more than 18 years "Manny" has coordinated his construction work with Susan's time frames, finishing his iron projects on schedule in order to complete clients' projects. He develops deck structures using iron beams, framing and support columns. Many of his inventions arise out of his clients' particular requests, such as hammock poles resistant to high winds and pergolas strong enough to carry swinging benches. "Manny" creates ladders and stairs to accommodate brownstone buildings' accesses from interior to exterior spaces.
